Week 10

This week went super fast! Mason and I went to the doctors three times in four days! Twice for me and once for him. We are all doctored out, but feeling much better now. Mason had his two months shots and did fantastic. He let out two bloody murder screams (one with each shot) but once we picked him up off the table he was fine. I think it hurt me to watch more than it hurt him. His two month check up went well, he is now 12.5 lbs and 23 inches long. Mason smiles and coo's all the time now and as even let out a few laughs. I went a little picture crazy yesterday, so I have lots this week. Oh and Mason has discovered his hands and LOVES to put them in his mouth.
My hands are yummy!

Week 9

I have so many pictures to post that I'm going to keep this very short! Mason had his first visit to Oklahoma this weekend and we had a blast! It was very short (Friday-Monday) but we had so much fun seeing all of our family and friends! We can't wait to come back in March and stay for a week! Mason did great on the drive (he slept most of the time) and he did great all weekend meeting all the new faces! Here are photos from the weekend...coming back to Houston was very hard! We miss everyone so much! :(

Week 8

So this week Josh had to go to New Orleans for three days and while that doesn't seem like that long, when you are home alone with a 7 week old it seems like forever! Actually, it wasn't bad at all. Mason and I went on walks everyday and even went shopping one day. Oh and I made dinner both nights....like real dinners, nothing in the microwave! That's a big deal even when Josh is home! Mason was good for the most part, he did have a major break down one night, but he made up for it by SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! I couldn't believe it 10:30-6:30 without a peep! (Don't worry though he hasn't done it since! Ha ha!) Unfortunately, when Josh came home he brought the gunk with him and was sick all weekend! I tried to keep Mason away from him, since the last thing I want is a sick baby, but it wasn't that easy since he hadn't seen him in three days! Friday night we went to dinner and Saturday Jennifer came to see us. It was great hanging out and we got to eat pizza! (I don't know why I'm not losing the baby weight!!!) And it was so good to see her little baby bump! She looks too cute. Saturday night was fun, but Sunday was a mess! Josh was super sick and so was Mason! It was so sad to see him so upset and there was nothing I could do. (Mason that is, not Josh!) But lucky for me, he just had an upset tummy and is feeling much better today! I'm so glad that it wasn't the gunk like Josh has! Ok, well here are some pictures from the week.

Happy Birthday MeMe!

We just wanted to say Happy Birthday MeMe! Hope that you had a great day and we can't wait to see you in two weeks!

Super Sunday

This weekend Nana and Papa come to Houston to play and we had so much fun! Bill and Josh played golf on Saturday while Kathy, Mason and I hung out at the house. We all went to dinner Saturday night and once again Mason did great. I swear he can sleep anywhere except for his own crib! On Sunday we looked around the neighborhood and Sugarland and came home and had a mini Super Bowl party. Oh and Kathy got a facebook page, so you will have to add her to your friends! We had a great weekend and can't wait until we get to see Nana and Papa again!

Ready for the big game!

Week 6

As some of you know, Mason makes this noise when he's starting to get upset that sounds just like a baby bear. He makes it before he cries and will do it several times in a row. It's so funny sounding that it makes Josh and I laugh and I always joke that he's saying "I'm a Bear!" Well this week I found an outfit that had bears all over it and little bear feet and it's just too cute and perfect for him. It's still a little big, but he'll grow into it. So here if his "I'm a bear" outfit. Just imagine him and his little roar!

I'm so tough! Don't mess with me!

Week 5

Last weekend we had so much fun when Papa Alan came and visited. On Friday we all hung out at the house and ordered take out and Saturday we took Mason to see the ocean in Galveston. Unfortunately it was too cold to get out, so we just looked at the beach from the car. It was amazing to see Galveston after Hurricane Ike. They have done a lot of clean up, but there is still so much more to do. You could still see a lot of damages to the houses and there was debris all over. They are working really hard on the clean up and are hoping to be back to normal for summer. We are excited for this summer when we can go to the beach and play in the sand.
