Week 7

Friday was the first day of fall and nothing says "Hooray its Fall!" like melting outside in the 98 degree temperature at the pumpkin patch! Thats right we headed out to Dewberry farm this weekend to kick off fall in style. Besides being a little on the toasty side (although there was a nice breeze) it was really fun. Mason loved that he got to ride a tractor and a horse and Tyler well, she just slept the whole time. The kids had a blast playing on the slides, forts, and cow train. Mason was so excited about the pumpkin that he picked out, he carried it all day even when we got home.

Week 6

What a fun week, we had lots going on between doctor appointments, haircuts and Alison and Sam coming to visit! Busy weeks are the best because it makes the week fly by. We had a great time with Sam and Alison just hanging out at home. It was nice to have extra hands around the house and I was even able to cook! Sam is so cute and getting so big! I miss being able to see them whenever we want, so it was so nice to be able to spend some time with them! At the end of the day we tried to get a picture of all the kids together. Oh wow! We did end up with one good one, but it took about 50 tries! Nothing like trying to take a picture when everyone is under the age of 3! Ha Ha!

A few weeks ago when Lauren came to town she took Tylers newborn photos. I love them all! Thank you so much Lauren! Here are just a few of many amazing pictures!

Week 5

After our 4 day weekend, this week went super fast. Mason went to school on Tuesday and Thursday and didn't cry either day...not even at drop off! After the summer that we had at camp, this is a very big deal! I'm very proud of him! In other big news, Tyler slept through the night two nights this week! We put her to bed at 10:00 and didn't hear a peep from her until 7:00 when we woke her up. Its so nice to get a full nights rest, although I can't complain at all because she's been a great sleeper all along. Even when she does wake up, its only once a night and she always goes right back to sleep after her bottle. We also took Tyler to her one month check up and everything looks great. She now weighs 8 lbs 10 oz and is 21 inches long. It's hard to believe that one month later she is about the same size Mason was when he was born! She got a shot while at the dr and let me tell you she was a diva about it! I remember when Mason got his shots he would cry, but after I picked him up her would be fine. Not Miss Tyler! She cried when she got her shot, she cried when I picked her up, she cried when I put her clothes back on, when we were checking out, and when I put her in the car seat. She cried to anyone and everyone that would listen! And it wasn't a sad cry it was a mad cry! She was not happy and she wanted everyone to know about it! Such a diva!

Week 4

Super fun week and weekend. This week Tyler turned one month old, football season started, the Sooners won, and we even went to the zoo. Its Labor day weekend and Josh surprised me by taking off Friday so it turned into a four day mini vacation! Friday we just hung out at the house and went to dinner, Saturday was the start of college football, so we watched games all day and had a mini tailgate party. On Sunday we went to the zoo in the morning and met some friends at the "hill" here in the neighborhood and listened to a band play while Mason ran around like a crazy man! If you notice in the pictures that he still has on his OU jersey its because he wouldn't take it off! He had to sleep in it and wear it all day Sunday. I had to hide it from him Sunday night just to get his pjs on. After all that we still had Monday to hang out, it was so nice to just relax and have Josh home for a few days.
