Week 14

The weather has been fantastic this week! The mosquitos are finally going away and we've been able to get outside and play. We went to the park several times this week and we had Mason's 3rd Birthday party this weekend. We couldn't get the party place during the month of December and this weekend worked the best this month, its a little early, but that just means we get to celebrate longer. The birthday party was so much fun and of coarse Mason was a wild child the whole time! At least its safe to say that he had a good time and thats what is really important. He's really into playing pretend and dress up these days. I bought him a pair of fireman rain boots and I swear he has not taken them off. We've worn them to the park, to the store, to school, his birthday party, we even slept in them the first night or two. He loves them and calls them his cowboys boots. He is one crazy kid thats for sure. If you would have told me three years ago that I would let him wear the outfits that he wears sometimes, I would have said no way. But I've definitely learned to pick my battles and the boots are not worth it to me.

I might need to reiterate the pick my battles part!

New Born Announcement

Lauren put together this beautiful birth announcement that I absolutely love! I just wish I would have been more put together and sent them out! Ha ha! Please pretend that you received this in the mail. I just love it.

Week 13

Happy Halloween! What a fun start off to week! Mason loved trick or treating this year. I swear him and Grant ran from house to house almost the whole time. After they were done going to houses, Mason sat out on the driveway with us and helped pass out candy. I'm pretty sure he liked doing that more then getting the candy. Well until I tried to pass out some of his candy and he wasn't going to let that happen. Ha ha! He also thought it was pretty cool that MeMe was dressed up as Mickey Mouse. I'm so mad I didn't get a picture of them! Tyler turned 3 months this week. She is all about the death grip. She has started grabbing on to the hanging toys on her gym and will not let go. Its funny because she will try once and miss and then get it the next time. That's when she holds on super tight. I can just imagine her thinking "If I let go, I might never get it back!" She's getting so big.

Week 12

This week was full of Halloween fun! Mason had his Fall party at school this week and since I am one of the room moms (thats a whole different story! ha ha!) I had to go. Im pretty sure the moms being there made it about 100 times worse! Talk about chaos. Bless his teachers hearts, I can not imagine hanging out with 16 2 to 3 year olds all day! So, I only saved one sleeper that Mason had as a baby for Tyler to wear. It's a cute little white one with bears, anyways, I've posted pictures of both Mason and Tyler and man do they look a like! I don't usually see it too much, but in the same outfit you can definitely tell that they are brother and sister! I do think its funny that the pictures of Mason are from when he was 6 weeks old and here Tyler is 12 weeks and its still a little big on her. Thats what happens when you start out almost 3 lbs behind! On Friday, MeMe came to visit. We were able to do a little shopping and go to galleria Friday afternoon and then Saturday, the adults went to a wine tasting and luncheon party. On Sunday we went to the zoo and Monday was Halloween. It was a quick visit but we had a blast with MeMe. Thanks for coming to see us!
