Happy Birthday Pierson

Ok I'm a little late, but Mason really wanted to wish his friend Pierson a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! And since his party isn't until this weekend, technically I'm on time! We hope that you had a great Birthday and an even better party this weekend. We would also like to wish Megan and Drew good luck with the sugar high that he will have! Much love T-ball partner!

Darcy's Blog Debut

The self proclaimed "blog-stalker" has made her way into the blog world! We had so much fun when Darcy and Ryan came down to visit us last weekend! We even took Mason on his first restaurant outings and he did great. He just hung out with us at the table and we all had a good time. We were also really glad that Sarah came and met us for dinner. So fun! I would like to add that Ryan was such a trooper and endured the worst conversation of all time! Even Josh bailed on him! Sorry about that Ryan! I've decided that Darcy and Ryan need to live here in Houston! We miss you!

One Month and Counting!

I can't believe it has already been a full month! Time flies when you live on a three hour schedule! Ha ha! Mason had his one month wellness check up today and got the A-OK from our doctor. He now weighs 10.5 lbs (70 percentile) and is 22 1/4 inches long (75% percentile). His cold has gone away and he is looking good. (He had a small cold about a week ago and we had a few rough nights where he wouldn't sleep more than an hour at a time, but he's doing much better now.) He also got a shot and he took it like a trooper with very little crying. We will see what happens next month when he gets lots of shots! I'm sure that he won't be as nice about those! Besides that everything here is the same. We are getting used to life and being on schedules. The weather has been nice here so Mason and I try to get out and walk everyday. (I think that's saving my sanity!) I'm still waiting to get the OK from my Dr. to start exercising again, so that's a little frustrating. I go back on Monday, so hopefully he'll say I'm good to go. It's time to lose this weight! Ok now the important things, it's picture time!

Merry Christmas!

I hope that everyone had a fantastic Christmas! The past two weeks have been a little crazy and tiring around here, but really fun. Mason is doing great, he's a pretty good sleeper, although he's a little confused between day and night! He loves to sleep all day and is wide awake (but not too fussy) at night. We are working on trying to correct that, although it's not all that easy. We went to the Dr. this week and he's past his birth weight (8.9) and everything looks good. Meme and Grandpa came down on Christmas Eve and left today. It was so nice to have family around for Christmas and we had a great time just hanging out. We missed being with Josh's family, but we got a web cam for Christmas (thanks Nana) so we got to see everyone during the "big party", so that was fun. Josh is going back to work tomorrow and I can honestly say I'm nervous! He has been the biggest help with everything and it's going to be very hard and tiring to do it all by myself! The good thing is it's only a half week, so I will get some relief in a few days! I just have to remember to sleep when I can. OK, well reading this is the boring part, so I will get to the pictures now! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Snow in Houston??

Well it was no ice storm of 2007, but believe it or not, it snowed in Houston today! I took some photo's of our house with the Christmas lights and snow. It really is a big deal to have snow around here, the news said that the last time it snowed was Christmas Eve 2004. I told Josh that tonight would be the perfect night to have a baby! Although, at this point EVERY night is the perfect night to have a baby, but this would make a good story! No worries though, it is supposed to be in the 70's again this weekend!

Nursery Photos

Well, I think that the nursery is finally ready! Here are some photos and hopefully this will be one of my last posts before Mason comes!
